Victorian Minton Majolica game tureen and cover, the tureen with basket weave design, the lid decorated in relief with a hare, duck and pigeon on a bed of ferns, together with inner liner, impressed factory marks and No.668 to the base, 21cm high x 36cm wide

The handle of the lid has been broken off and re-glued. There is also a 1cm chip to the bird. The liner is heavily stained and has a 7cm x 2cm chip around the rim. The liner also has an 11cm hairline crack which runs from the rim downwards. The body of the tureen has two hairline cracks being 8cm and 13cm long the largest is visible from the exterior and has chips around the hairline crack in places.
